New York Energy $martsm Communities (“Energy $mart Communities”) is a NYSERDA program under the umbrella of the United States Department of Energy’s Rebuild America program. Energy $mart Communities brings together organizations and agencies who contribute to model projects that demonstrate how energy efficiency and renewable energy create economic, social, and environmental benefits. To achieve a regional impact, Energy $mart Communities markets success stories and provides local support to individuals and organizations interested in energy efficiency and NYSERDA programs.
