
The council reports on how New York‘s water resources can best be managed. In light of the growing need for renewable energy and threats from climate change recommendations will attempt to guarantee the lakes will remain sustainable resources for future generations of New Yorkers, along with the fish, birds, animals, and plants that make up a healthy ecosystem.
The report is designed to stimulate further dialogue and public input. The Council will therefore host a series of public input sessions.
