LOCI had two granting programs for the year 2006: the Local Implementation Grants and the Research and Monitoring Grants. The Local Implementation Grants make funding available to support local implementation projects consistent with LOCI’s mission and priorities identified in the Action Agenda. The Research and Monitoring Grants program on the other hand, provides seed funding for new, cooperative approaches to projects with the potential to improve understanding and/or management of New York's “north coast” including embayments, rivers, creeks and their watersheds.
